I have received a few compliments about the photos that I post on this site - most recently for the Yosemite album. The camera I use is a Sony CyberShot P5 and it has served me very well. However, seeing photos such as this award winner from the World Press Photo contest and the amazing collection at Sensitive Light, I have been considering upgrading my camera. Obviously, I don't expect a hardware upgrade to suddenly improve my photographic abilities, but a higher quality camera which gives me more control and has a more powerful zoom would be helpful. Heather Champ uses a Canon EOS Digital Rebel and this camera is currently top of my purchase list.

chris, jc has an EOS Digital, not sure what model but he loves it. I had a go when I was back in the UK and it handles pretty well. I busted my cheapo camera up pretty good last weekend. Filled it full of sand so I might go get a new one, if the SO allows
