Version 1.0.1 of the Web Developer extension has been released. This is a patch release containing a few minor bug fixes.
The localized build has also now been updated to the latest version. If you have already installed version 1.0 there should be no issues upgrading, but otherwise it is recommended to uninstall the previous version before upgrading.
Update: A couple of bugs have been discovered with the ‘Edit CSS’ feature so you may want to hold off on upgrading for the moment.
Update 2: The CSS bugs have been fixed and the extension has been replaced with the fixed version. I did not change the version number as the fix was minor, so if you have already installed this version you will need to re-install the extension.

Vincent - This should be fixed now.
Hi Chris,
Looks like everything is going pretty smooth!
Now, I have to ask the all-time, most stupid question ever — while it’s on my mind…
I’m a keen user of ‘Web Developer’, and as such, I don’t feel a need to use ‘icons’ with its’ interface, e.g. I display the toolbar in ‘text’ mode only. All the icons do is get in my way.
Today, I had to use another computer, and it had ‘icons & text’ enabled. Gawd! I could hardly use it. I kept apologizing for hitting the wrong icon. I told ‘them’ I wasn’t used to using them, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, it got me thinking, “I wonder what Chris uses?”
Do you (peronally) uses ‘icons’, ‘text’, or ‘icons & text’?
Heh! I told you it was going to be a stupid question… ;)
Most of the default settings are how I use the extension and the same is true for this setting - I use ‘Icons & Text’.
Hi!
I installed now the 1.0.2… I wrtie here because no topic is open for this version!
Here a little thing I found (may be is know…): Edit HTML didn’t work in page with Frame… or better, work normally but only in the main page…
Is a know issues? Theres a workaround?
Right-click the frame -> This Frame -> Show Only This Frame -> Web Developer -> Miscellaneous -> Edit HTML
Keul - Please see the known issues, although VinDSL points out the current workaround.

Localized version seems to be broken. The chrome.manifest file contains errors in locales where the extension name is misspelled “wedeveloper” instead of “webdeveloper”.
