My most sincere congratulations. This extension is getting so incredibly brilliant, it is bordering on the insane. That’s a pretty good description of how I felt upon discovering its latest features, anyway.

This is top-grade. This is top-quality. This is something I can hardly work without anymore. I’m sorry the donation I was able to make so inadequately reflects all this brilliance.

Just keep this work up. How much more extraordinary can it get ?

Web Developer is the most useful extension. I love to use the “Disable Meta Redirects” when troubleshooting websites.

Excellent work Chris!

amazing but Dom inspecter does not work on version 1.5.0.1

Danyol - The DOM Inspector is a standard part of the browser so if it is not working that would be a problem with the browser and not the extension.

If the entry is just grayed out, however, please read the FAQ.

Great Extension!

I think I found a bug (I know it probably shouldn’t be posted here - sorry in advance -, but I don’t want to register at the forum now) - it is also mentioned here: http://chrispederick.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=1285:
When using the ruler on a page which has set white as text color, its text is also white. Try about:mozilla, for eample. I don’t know if also other features show this behaviour.

Anyway, go on with this great work! :)

Anonymous - As I posted in that forum topic, the ‘Display Ruler’ feature has already been improved for the next release and this should no longer be an issue.

Didn’t know if you fixed exactly this bug because you wrote “It is not white on a yellow background (…)”.
Thanks for fixing this and for your - really - fast response :)

Chris,

Web Developer is a fantastic extension. There are so many great features that I find useful for helping me debug my websites.

Really like the following:
Information -> Display Element Information
Misc -> Display Ruler
Misc -> Show Comments

Thankyou!!

Really helpful for web developers! Great!

I also like the “display ruler” feature, and It would be really complete if someone includes a colorpicker (no need to be so complex like CollorZilla).

Thanks a lot !
