THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart.

Let me put a shout out to your “reload external files” on the to-do list. I would use this feature hundreds of times a day if it were to be implemented.

I’m constantly modifying js or css and not the actual html.

This is the coolest web tool bar we have ever seen. We have already used it about 5 times in two days to great effect. Kudos to you Chris. Excellent Job !

This is just a warning and doesn’t stop the extension from installing. It is the recommended solution by Mozilla for fixing the issue that stopped the extension being compatible with Firefox 3.

This appears to be blocking javascript from running on any page.

Syama das - I’m not seeing this problem - are you sure you haven’t disabled JavaScript under the ‘Disable’ menu? If not I would suggest creating a new profile.

I got a WD update last week thanks, its a great plugin. I use WD and Firebug all the time, they are both really helpful plugins.

I’ve come to rely on this add-on so much that I wouldn’t be downloading/installing FF3 today if this wasn’t yet compatible. Thanks so much for all your work!

Great work! Webdeveloper is my top must-have extension.

But with FF 3.0 my liked Ctrl + Shift + H for Page HTML Validation Shortcut doesn’t work as expected?: It shows up the Firefox Library.

Hi Chris,

I’m using the toolbar under Ubuntu hardy with firefox 3.0.1 and there seems to be a problem with the css path using the “Display Element information” function.

The classic yellow info window in fact goes beneath the page witouth any style applied to it.

Hope u can fix it asap.

Bye

Fulippo - does this happen on every page or just certain pages?

Thank you for your excellent toolbar.
I recently discovered the “Edit view source with applications”. It’s just what I need to open my text editor directly from the pages ! (I Use WinXP, FireFox and ConText as code editor).
A few days ago I installed FireFox 3.0.1 and “Edit view source with applications” doesn’t work anymore, I tried with various applications like NotePad, my magic tool has gone away !
Thanks in advance for your help !

Hi Chris,

sorry for the late response. This bug appears on every single page.

Fulippo - I would suggest installing the extension under a new profile and seeing if it works there since that feature works on my test machines.

@Chris: I’ve encountered the problem under 2 different installations of Ubuntu Hardy. I will try to use a different profile maybe it will work.

Thanks for your support

Hello Chris,

I didn’t notice this listed on the issues page but I’ve found that the Show Hidden Elements option doesn’t reveal hidden form fields.

Aside from that I’d like to say this is an excellent product! I use it all of the time.

Wardell - I’ll fix this in a future release.

@Chris: I’ve resolved the problem with the extension under ubuntu hardy. I had installed the extension from ubuntu repository. It was version 1.1.5 installed from the package firefox-webdeveloper.

I’ve installed version 1.1.6 from your site and now everything’s as it should.

Hope it could be useful
