Greasemonkey and Stylish

I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I love to tweak. The first thing I do when I get a new computer is go through every option in the control panel or system preferences. If I start using a new application I spend the first hour configuring all the options and any toolbars to my liking.

This is great for applications running on my computer, but what about the numerous websites that I have no control over? Previously I had to live with whatever customizable options were exposed by the site, but using Greasemonkey and Stylish I can tweak any site as much as I like.

Oddica

oddica I first heard about a new t-shirt company called Oddica when SimpleBits posted about them a couple of weeks ago and was then reminded about their opening sale by Preshrunk.

I purchased three t-shirts that arrived a couple of days ago and I was impressed by both the quality of the t-shirts themselves and the attention to detail taken with the packaging. Each t-shirt was individually wrapped and accompanied by a postcard and a badge, and everything was sent in a custom Oddica mailing envelope.

I highly recommend Oddica and cannot wait for the next set of designs to be released.

Podcasts

"Podcasts? Meh." That has been my typical response to podcasts up until now.

For something that seemed to me to be a rather niche technology I have been surprised by the number of companies embracing podcasts. From it's prominent placement in iTunes to Tivo integration and sites such as Odeo, podcasting is appearing in relatively mainstream areas. However, I did not see it as a compelling technology.
