There have been many times when I have wanted a tripod while taking photos, but I did not want to carry around a bulky tripod since I only use a compact camera.

Last week I ordered a Gorillapod - a compact and lightweight alternative to a traditional tripod - and I was able to try it out this weekend.

A couple of weeks ago Laughing Squid posted about a pillow fight in San Francisco planned for February 14th. Not only did this sound fun, but I figured that it would be a good opportunity to take some amusing photos.

So I headed down to Justin Herman Plaza after work not really knowing what to expect...I was in for quite a surprise!

Best Seats Ever

For Christmas I bought my friend Alex tickets to see the Los Angeles Lakers play basketball against the Golden State Warriors. However, instead of going with regular priced seats, I decided to splash out and bought tickets just a few rows back in the lower tier from StubHub. The game was this Saturday and it was awesome!

Photo Bonanza

I have returned from an unexpectedly long vacation so expect to see updates to this site resume.

The first update is a number of new photo albums from my vacation along with some photos of the San Francisco Symphony in Dolores Park from my first weekend back. I have also added some new videos from my vacation and uploaded new versions of the old videos that have been (badly) edited in iMovie HD.

I did not spend my entire vacation laying around either, so expect a Web Developer status update soon...

Despite the weather I took a trip to the Napa Valley last weekend and I have uploaded a few photos of the wine tasting.

My parents also recently returned from vacation in Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. By all accounts they had a fantastic time and they took some amazing wildlife photos

I spent a very nice Christmas in Tahoe with Sam, Amy and Amy's family, and I have uploaded a bunch of photos and a video of us singing "Sleigh Ride".

Lor and Ian also uploaded some photos to Ofoto of their Christmas & New Year's Eve.

Finally, I have also uploaded a few photos from dinner with Dave & Kristy.
