Test for color blindness?
I would like to see an option too disable colors (change to greyscale) so that we can test pages for readability by colorblind people.
BTW, thanks for this already invaluable extension.

Re: Test for color blindness?
With the available option only the css color definitions are disabled. What I meant was an option to "greyscale" all colors on the page including the pictures that are not taken into account with the current option.

Your best bet is to add one of the many tools available online to the customizable 'Tools' menu. For example:
http://graybit.com/files/graybit.php?url=

Re: Test for color blindness?
1. Go to 'Options' -> 'Options...' from the menu or toolbar
2. Click on 'Tools' on the left
3. Click 'Add...'
4. Select 'URL' as the tool type
5. Enter a description and paste http://graybit.com/files/graybit.php?url= as the URL
6. Click 'OK' and 'OK' to close the options
7. Go to 'Tools' from the menu or toolbar and choose the tool you just created

Belatedly: Thank you.
I missed the "select "URL" part. Perhaps that should be the default?

But then people will argue the same for if you want to add an application so I can't win either way. I don't think it makes a big issue and is not worth recoding, personally.

Re: Test for color blindness?
I also recommened people use
http://www.vischeck.com/vischeck/vischeckURL.php
on their pages. It is a very nice tool for designers to make their pages more accessable.
I would also love to see this site coded into the Tools menu by default since alot of people out there do not know or think about these kind of services. But they make the web a much nicer place for all types of people to enjoy. Which is be the goal of all desingers working on the web.
The site mentioned above does not work work by adding it under Options->Tools because of the way that the toolbar adds the current sites url to the link. Same goes for this site which would make a good addition to hte toolbar

Re: Test for color blindness?
I'll look into supporting the first site and 'View Color Contrast Information' is already on the to-do list:
