Outline elements and open DOM inspector

Hola Chris, for a future version, it would be great if you could add an option I think it will be very useful when debugging designs.

I think the option could be included inside the "Miscellaneos" or "Information" menus, that when activated will start performing in a similar way to the "View Style Information": adding an event handler to every nodes in the document, but instead of displaying in the "status" the nodes path in the element that is receiving the onmouseover, I will add a moz-outline style in a similar way as colorZilla (http://www.iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/) in order to locate the element in a visual way. Then when clicking over the element, it would be great if it will open the DOM inspector pointing the selected node, as colorZilla does in the "Dom Inspector" option or as the InspectElement extension does (http://stricto-sensu.net/projets/extens … ctelement/).

This way it will be easier to find possible bugs in the web pages.

I'll look into this for a future release.

I totally support this request. I wished I had it today already.
I really like to be able to hover over the page to know what node is there, but I'd love to be able to see the whole content of the block I'm over, so have it outlined would be awesome!

I agree, a DOM Path feature like the one Colorzilla offers (clearly as an afterthought) would be extremely useful. Designers who use Dreamweaver would really love this feature as it has been part of Dreamweaver's interface for a few years.

Ideally the outline and the DOM Path in the statusbar could be toggled separately as there are situations where you might want to use one and not the other.

The DOM path feature is already available as part of 'View Style Information' - it shows the path to whatever you are hovering over before you click.
