Overhaul/extend the display of inline information
Currently displaying inline information like 'Display Form Details' or 'Show Link Information' is good to get a fast overview over the elements with the corresponding information, but besides that the inline display of them is not looking nice when enabled and often destroying the page layout.
I'd prefer to optionally be able to switch the display of this kind of information to a tool tip based one.
E. g. for the form details feature when hovering a form field the form containing it could be marked by outlining it and the details of the field are displayed as a tool tip. For showing information about and editing hidden form fields a little symbol could be displayed on one of the form's corners and when hovering it they are listed in a tool tip.

I have some similar ideas and will be trying some alternative implementations that if they work well I'll integrate into a future release.
