About
Chris Pederick
I am a web developer originally from London, England, but now living in San Francisco, California. I am currently the lead front-end engineer at Bleacher Report, the world's largest sports network that is powered entirely by fan-generated content. Read my resume for more information.
I am also known for my browser extensions - primarily the Web Developer extension - which I write in my spare time and distribute for free.
chrispederick.com
chrispederick.com is my personal web site containing my blog, work, photos and videos. The site is written mainly in custom PHP, although the blog is powered by WordPress, the forums are powered by FluxBB and the site map is powered by SlickMap CSS.
A number of APIs are used to pull in content from other sites:
- Photos are powered by the Flickr API using the phpFlickr framework and displayed using the Galleria JavaScript image gallery
- Search is powered by Yahoo! Search BOSS
- Videos are powered by the Vimeo API
The sketched portrait of myself was drawn by Tag Savage and you can make a donation and get a sketched portrait of your own. The site is hosted with Rackspace Cloud and the icons are by Icon Drawer and Paul Robert Lloyd.

I run Random, yes. Useful, no. which is a largely unfiltered list of the links that I send and receive each day with friends, as well as Stuff I'm Reading which lists the stuff I'm reading both online and offline.
