I captioned my best nine of 2019 with “An incredible year of travel in 2019. Let’s keep this going in 2020!”. So I’m sorry for jinxing it and won’t make the mistake of offering any predictions for 2021 this time

@chrispederick I bought a 12-month wall calendar to better plan my trips and I declared it the year I would level up in travel hacking. So I think I am the one to blame.

@macgenie Oh no! What did we do?! 😬😂

@chrispederick I had also been toying with a “no-fly” year, because I know that travel is one of my avoidance strategies, but I thought “No, not this year, because I have too many trips already booked in 2020.” As it is, I managed to go to Florida, Los Angeles and Austin by the end of February.

@macgenie That’s great that you were able to get a bunch of trips in early! We are super happy that we did both an amazing vacation to Ecuador and the Galapagos as well as visiting family and friends in England and France last year. This year we were considering an Alaskan crusie and another African safari, but obviously both of those are on hold now. Sadly, my parents were due to come out to visit in September and that couldn’t happen. They are hoping to do it next year instead, but even that feels touch and go right now.
